Role

Starting immediately, this is a great opportunity for a Telemetry Engineer to work on our fleet of telemetry and data logging equipment, throughout the UK.

You should have knowledge of telemetry and an understanding of instrumentation, control and automation products. Electrical qualifications are required due to the need to open control panels etc.

This diverse and interesting role will take you to many different sites and give you the opportunity to meet our customers from the length and breadth of the UK. The travel element means that you will be working away for approximately 2 nights each week, but this is a flexible schedule, which allows you to manage the away nights to suits your needs.

Computer literacy is a must as you will be expected to record and report test results, make changes to software etc.

In addition to the on-site organisation, you will be expected to plan your own work schedule on a day to day basis, meet defined objectives. Where needed, you will receive support and assistance from fellow Total Automated Solutions Engineers.

Site experience is advantageous, but not essential. The Telemetry Engineer is expected to have a strong knowledge of the hazards associated with working on electrical equipment. Personal development is supported and job specific training is provided.

A full-driving licence is required

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Testing signals

Recording results

Responding to breakdowns and repairing equipment

The role based from the Total Automated Solutions office in Tockwith.

Competitive salary based on experience. A small company van is available, with personal use if required.
